Rowlands make further acquisition in Hexham

The acquisition of the former Gerry Proudlock Practice in Hexham by Rowlands was finally completed on 31st March 2010.
Rowlands were in negotiations with Gerry Proudlock and had reached an agreement to acquire the practice prior to his unexpected death in January 2010. Fortunately the acquisition was eventually completed as originally anticipated through Gerry executors. Gerry’s philosophy of client care matched that of Rowlands therefore the acquisition has proved to be seamless with all clients more than happy with the change in ownership. It is Rowlands intention to merge its existing office at Hexham (formerly David Coates & Co) located in Eastgate with the Proudlock practice and relocate both into new and prestigious premises in Gilesgate. It is anticipated that the new premises will be completed towards the end of May or early June. All 5 members of Gerry’s staff will continue with Rowlands and the Partners are extremely pleased that they are now members of Rowlands staff. Rowlands will continue to provide a high level of service to clients and expect the clients of the enlarged practice to benefit from the wide range of specialist services that Rowlands can offer. David Coates will act as a consultant to the practice and will be available at the offices on a daily basis, whilst Alan Hynd, Partner at Rowlands, will spend time at the practice looking after clients and practice development.
