Bankruptcy
- An application for bankruptcy order can be made by any creditor owed more than £750.00 or by the debtor.
- A Bankrupt loses control of his/her assets, and control of his/her estate passes to (vests in) the Trustee.
- The Trustee realises the Bankrupts estate and distributes it to creditors in a prescribed order of priority.
